B.Tech. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
This is eight semester courses with the last semester dedicated to Project Work. The project works are being carried at SITE but in some cases these may be executed either at any reputed industry or Research Institution or at a University within India or abroad having a MoU with SITE. The Department ensures that the identified locations where projects are offered have the requisite qualified faculty with suitable academic background and have professional expertise supported by comprehensive infrastructure for carrying out the projects offered to our students. Quality being the bottom line, SITE faculty as the internal guides, act as the watchdog.

In view of the requirements of the industry and other R & D organizations, the curriculum is designed to give due emphasis on Mathematics, Electronics, (Analog and Digital), Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Transducers, Fiber Optics, Computer Programming, Computer assisted Measurements, and the latest Instrumentation Techniques.

Scope for Employment
In electrical power generation, automotive and control industry, mining and allied industry, chemical industry and instrumentation and software industry, as well as in manufacturing, marketing and business management.
In the public sector, in steel industry, oil and natural gas industry, Railways, and companies such as BHEL, NTPC, ABB, Siemens, National Instruments, and DRDO Programmed Content.
